Discovering Economic Moats
I recieved a pm from dnhh over last week about how you go about uncovering economic moats. He commented that i should throw that out of the window case it will not help investors much.
Instead he passed this transcript on how some of the better investment minds analyse and finding companies with good investment values. After half way through it, i must agree that the transcript should be better than what i posted.
What i have posted here are criterias which an investors can look at to find economic moats. This transcript show how indepth you need to do.
There are so many kinds of business explored that it is a real eye opener as
- how pharmacies, Walmart, Berkshire, Harley davidson etc should be investigated
- Whether berkshire can survivve buffett
- what they think of inflation and what to invest in
- international investing
